LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The City of La Follette meets in workshop session this afternoon at 5:30 pm at city hall.   Agenda items include member appointments for the Beautification and 9-1-1.  Beer permits for the Quick Shop and Zoyal Market are also on the agenda.  Other items that are up for discussion are police policy for accreditation, two ordinances and one resolution.

The final reading to amend Ordinance 2019-03 to amend the City of La Follette Fire Protection Fund and Distribution of Funds is expected with the first reading of Ordinance 2019-04 to rezone the property between North 4th  and 6th Streets at East Central Avenue from R-2 to C-1 (residential to commercial.  Resolution 2019-10 is on the agenda to amend the 2019-2020 budget.
