LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – All is quiet tonight in the 1000 block of West Central Avenue following what one officer described to WLAF as a standoff.  That standoff is now over.     Not long after 5:30 pm Saturday afternoon is when La Follette Police Officers responded to a home (TOP PHOTO) at 1015 West Central Avenue.  For the next three and a half hours, officers with the LPD, assisted by deputies with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department, worked to convince a man to quietly come out of the house.  At 9:10 pm, he did.  The man, uninjured, was taken to the La Follette Medical Center for an evaluation.
