LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- The City of La Follette is starting the cleanup process from the flooding beginning Thurs., June 13.

City officials have been in contact with Tennessee Department of Environmental Conservation and Tennessee Emergency Management Association. They have asked that trash be separated from debris from the flood. Wood, blocks, bricks etc. should be put in one pile with treated lumber, shingles, etc. in another pile. Household garbage in garbage bags should be in a separate pile. Furniture, mattresses, carpet etc. goes in a separate pile. Appliances will be in a pile and household chemicals will go in separate pile. Please put these stacks out by the curbs where trash is placed for pick up.
