JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The TNECD Tourism Enhancement Grant Committee announces that Campbell County will receive the Tourism Enhancement Grant in the amount of $75,000 to provide septic services to improve the lakeside campsites at Lonas Young Memorial Park.An official with the committee said, “We are thrilled to see the enhancement of local tourism assets, which is an integral part of every county in Tennessee.”
This grant becomes more competitive each year. This year, 65 applications were received and an advisory committee selected the 27 communities who are receiving grants. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/07/2019-1:30PM)
