I’m reminded of who is probably Campbell’s most famous MD. The late Bob Summit and I graduated LaFollette High in 1950 and went on to be one-year room mates at Davidson College before he transferred to UT. Bob graduated UT Medical and stayed to teach there. He is among the three smartest people I ever knew. He concluded his career by being the Dean of Students at the UT Memphis medical school. He passed about two years after retirement.
