KNOXVILLE, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County High’s “Mr. Do It All Athlete,” Christian Shouse and two of CCHS’s best basketball players in the school’s 44 year history, Skylar Boshears and Madison Brady, were up for special awards at Wednesday night’s annual Knox News Sports Awards banquet.     The event recognizes and honors the top athletic accomplishments in Knoxville area high school sports.  It was held at the Tennessee Theater and is hosted by the Knoxville News Sentinel.

TOP PHOTO:  Christian Shouse was a Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year Finalist.

Shouse excelled as a multi-sport Campbell Cougar Athlete during his time at CCHS.  He starred in football as well as track and field.  Shouse was state runner up in the decathlon as a junior and senior.  He graduated from Campbell County High last Saturday as did  Boshears. Shouse inked a track and field scholarship with Carson-Newman.    Boshears, an All-State selection, is on her way to Furman University in the fall while Brady, a senior-to-be, is being courted, most recently, by Rutgers University.
