Friday is an opportunity for Campbell County High Schools Seniors to leave a lasting impression on elementary and middle school students.  It’s the third Graduation Walk with an expected 100 CCHS Seniors to take part.

Monica Bane, the CCHS GEAR UP Site Coordinator, said seniors will march through the halls in their cap and gown while Pomp and Circumstance plays on the school intercom.  Seniors are encouraged to greet the students at the six schools.  Bane adds that this is a ‘parade’ honoring the seniors and inspiring the younger students.

“It’s good to see that these seniors have made it to their first major graduation.  It inspires the younger students to set their sights on that goal,” one elementary school teacher said.
