This Saturday, April 6th, a road block will take place between 9 am and 1 pm in downtown La Follette at the intersection of Peoples Bank of the South and Community Trust Bank to benefit Katherine Shears.    She was born with a birth injury to her brachial plexus which has resulted in Erb’s Palsy, a form of brachial plexus palsy which causes arm weakness and loss of motion. There is also an account open at ORNL, located at the Food City Shopping Center, accepting donations. Proceeds raised will help her get to Houston, Texas on Saturday, April 13th, for a necessary surgery.  Her father is a La Follette City Police Officer.
