Just after 3 pm Friday afternoon, the call of a car in a creek came in to E-911.Units from the Campbell County Rural Fire Service and the La Follette Rescue Squad worked for 20-minutes to free a Campbell County woman from her Nissan Rogue compact sport utility vehicle.   One official estimates that the elderly woman traveled some 50-yards off Duff Road down into Mill Branch where her Nissan overturned and trapped her inside of it.

High winds forced Lifestar to head back from Duff to Stiner Airfield

Lifestar was requested and flew to near the scene, but high winds in the area forced the med chopper to return to Stiner Airfield.  The patient was transported by ground ambulance to meet the chopper at Stiner Airfield where she was flown out to a Knoxville hospital.
