“If Big Creek gets out of its banks, then we have a whole new set of problems,” said Jim Mullens, the Director of Public Works for the City of La Follette.     For the past three or four days, Mullens and his crews have been preparing for this rainy weekend.  He says that ditches, waterways and such have all been opened up leaving us with nothing more than we can do except hoping that it (the water) doesn’t get that high.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/23/2019-5PM-PHOTO COURTESY OF WLAF’S CHARLIE HUTSON)
