A BOLO (be on the look out) was issued on Feb. 5 by the Sheriff’s Department about a burglary and ended with two men in jail on Feb. 6.

The LaFollette Police Department stopped a vehicle matching the BOLO call and found what was believed to be stolen property taken from Wagon Lane in LaFollette in the bed of the truck. Inside the truck bed, police found a door and three boxes of roofing nails. Deputy Raymond Surber spoke with the men in the truck, Jerry Lynn Miracle and Vernon Lee Ivey, who allegedly said they had gone into the home and carried out a door and a combined total of three boxes of roofing nails, according to the report. The victim came to the scene and was able to identify the property, and it was returned to the victim. The door that was in the truck had the victim’s name on it as well.

Miracle, 46, 185 Miracle Lane, LaFollette is charged with theft of property under $999.99 and burglary.  Ivey, 42, 141 Lambert Lane, LaFollette is charged with burglary and theft of property under $999.99.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/14/2019-6AM)
