There was no one home but the dog when a fire broke out this morning at a home at Duff.

Three different agencies responded to a fire at Duff

At 8:09 am Friday morning is when the Campbell County Rural Fire Service was dispatched to Duff Road for a report of a house fire.  The home is located not far from the Cotula Road turn-off.

Upon arrival, CCRFS Assistant Chief Daniel Lawson said, “We found heavy smoke coming from the roof.  No one was home, and there were no injuries.  The family’s dog was rescued.

The home is about seven-miles north of La Follette
