Colder air and limited moisture settle-in to Campbell County this week as Sunday’s near 70-degree high and sunny sky give-way to an early taste of winter.

Chilly winds take center stage today with gusts of 25-miles per hour or higher and the temps will hold steady in the 40s with not much change though we are beginning the day around 50-degrees.  The wind sends our wind chills into the 20s and 30s at times today.  Clouds increase through the day as we head for a low of 33 tonight.  There is a slight chance of rain and snow showers Monday night into Tuesday and Tuesday night into Wednesday with little or no snow accumulation.  Wednesday brings the coldest day (38-degrees) and night (24-degrees) of the week with rain and snow showers likely over the weekend.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/03/2018-6AM)
