Peanut Marlow remains on the loose this afternoon.  This morning, not long after 11 am, La Follette Police Officer Steven Carroll was flagged down by a woman in east La Follette.

She pointed as she told Carroll “there goes my car.  It’s been stolen.” According to LPD officials, Carroll pulled the car over near Hollingsworth’s Meat Market on East Chestnut Street.  As he approached the car, the driver drove off.

It turned out that it was not the woman’s stolen car.  It was a similar looking vehicle.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/29/2018-1:10PM – UPDATE 2:45PM – PHOTO COURTESY OF THE CAMPBELL COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT)
