Wlaf1450On Saturday, The Friends of Community Health of East Tennessee (CHET) Family Services Center will host the Donna Kitts Memorial 5K at Cove Lake State Park.
The race is intended to raise domestic violence awareness and funds for CHET’s Family Services Center.
The race will begin with registration at 8am and start at 9 am on October 27. Online pre-registration is $25. Male and female race categories start with age 14 and under; the other categories are 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80 – up. Awards will be given to first, second and third places. The race will feature a one-mile dog walk, cost is $10.
Preregistered runners will receive a T-shirt on the day of the race. Race day registrants will receive shirts as supply last. After the race, refreshments will be served and awards presented. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/23/2018-6AM)
