The final game of the season saw the Lady Cougars winning 4 – 2 over the Lady Panthers of Cumberland Gap Wednesday night at Campbell High.

CCHS senior Julia Isber scored the Lady Cougars first in the first half though Campbell County went into halftime trailing 2 – 1.  In the second half, Lady Cougar Olivia Branam scored at the fourteen-minute mark.  With ten-minutes to go, senior Samantha Lasley scored to give Campbell the lead.  Senior Drew Leach sealed the deal with five-minutes remaining to boost CCHS out to a  4 – 2 edge.  Cumberland Gap could not recover.

“It’s been a tough year,” according to coach Bryan Horton.  The Lady Cougars lose three outstanding seniors in Isber, Lasley and Leach though a strong group  returns.
