Cain commits to Bryan – By Pat Pebley

Anna Cain has had a standout senior year for Lady Cougar Volleyball.  The senior leads the team in scoring this year and is rapidly approaching a
school record of 1,000 points.  Now she has committed to playing on the next level.  Anna will be heading to Dayton, Tennessee, to play for the Lady
Lions of Bryan College.  It should be familiar territory for the youngest Cain as her brothers John and Tucker had standout careers playing baseball for the Lions and her sister Sarah is currently a Lady Lion basketball player.

Cain said she decided to go to Bryan after meeting with the coach and volleyball team and feeling like it was the place for her to continue her
volleyball career.  Anna pointed out that it is a very strong volleyball team in place at Bryan, and that she would have to put in hard work in the
gym to earn playing time.

Cain looks to major in some manner of science, possibly chemistry, as she wants to enter the medical field after she graduates.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/27/2018-6AM-PHOTO COURTESY OF WLAF’S PAT PEBLEY)
