A grand jury review of a shooting involving two juveniles has been postponed.  On Aug. 8, LaFollette Police responded to a shooting in the parking lot in front of Little Caesars restaurant located at the Woodson Mall. The shooting involved two juveniles, who were also siblings, according to law enforcement reports. The younger of the two children died as a result of her injuries.

A statement released from the Eighth Judicial District Attorney’s Office following the incident said the case would be presented to a grand jury on Sept. 12.

Due to an accident involving the lead investigator in the matter, presentment of the case was deferred, according to Eight Judicial District Attorney General Jared Effler.

The case will be presented “sometime in the future,” he said. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 09/13/2018-6AM)
