Mr. William B. “Bill” Sammons age 75 of Jacksboro passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018. Bill was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of American Legion Post 58, a member of Beech Fork Baptist Church. Preceded in death by Parents, Lester C. and Clara Sparks Sammons, Brother, A.W. Sharp, and Daughter-in-law, Tera Orick Sammons.
Survivors: Wife of 51 years, Anna Sammons; Children, Scott Sammons and Wife, Amanda, Mark Sammons and Wife, Tracy, and Suzanne McKamey and Husband, Dean; Four Grandchildren, Hannah Sammons, Jacob Sammons, Cooper Sammons, and Lucas McKamey; Brother, Jim Sammons; Sisters, Betty Fay Russell and Frankie Wilson; Several other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Friday 7 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. C.W. Fraker and Rev. George Asbury officiating. Family and friends will meet Saturday at 9:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens for Graveside Services and Interment with Full Military Honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
