The Campbell County High School Class of 1988 is planning its 30 year reunion. And so far, ticket sales have been slow. Only nine tickets have been sold to the event scheduled for late October.  The weekend will begin at CCHS for a home football game on Oct. 26. There will be a reserved section so class members can tailgate and attend the football game together. Class members are asked to meet at the school pregame on Friday for CCHS vs. West High School, which starts at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 27, the reunion will continue at ClaiHill Farm for dinner and dancing at 7 p.m. The $30 tickets, when purchased, will cover the food, venue and deejay for the event at ClaiHill.

The planning committee has until Sept. 15 to make a deposit to secure the venue, food and deejay. As it was explained in a Facebook post about the reunion, the planning group “can’t incur the cost of the reunion even with promises that people will continue to buy tickets after Sept. 15.”

If there isn’t enough interest in the reunion by Sept. 15, any and all plans made for furthering a Class of ‘88 reunion will be cancelled, according to the post.

Tickets can be purchased for $30 per person via PayPal @ CCHSclassreunion for ClaiHill. For more information email Cindi Reynolds at: Cchsclassof1988reunion@gmail.com, visit Facebook at:  CCHS Class of ’88 Reunion.

If tickets are purchased and there and still isn’t enough interest to have the reunion all money will be refunded. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/30/2018-6AM)
