After a scoreless first-half, the Davey Crockett Pioneers posted four touchdowns in the second half on Friday night to defeat the Campbell Cougars on Pat Kerr Field.   Crockett used speed to distance itself from the Cougars in recording a 28 to 7 victory.  Campbell’s score came late avoiding a shutout.

The Cougars uncharacteristically came away empty on four trips to the red zone.

The Cougars take a 1 & 1 record into their first region game on Friday at Oak Ridge.  The Wildcats came from behind to defeat Campbell 17-15 on its home field last season.
