LFD snuffs out small fire just in time

There was a brief scare around lunch time today at the La Follette Health Clinic next to Fazoli’s Restaurant.  La Follette Fire Assistant Chief Jimmy Pack tells WLAF that he thinks a hot cigarette butt likely started a small fire under the building igniting some leaves and insulation.  Pack explains that a couple of firefighters crawled up under the building and snuffed out the fire.  Firefighters with LFD along with La Follette Police and Campbell County EMS responded.

LFD Firefighters made quick work of Tuesday’s small fire.
