Cecil R. Pierce, age 81, of Tazewell, was born March 18, 1937, and passed away July 12, 2018 at his home.  He retired as a strip miner and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed going to the races.  Preceded in death by wife, Judy Pierce; parents, Fred and Sudie Pierce; sisters, Betty Sue Pierce and Ima Jean Mikesell
