Campbell County took part in its second seven-on-seven football event on Wednesday morning.  Coach Justin Price tells WLAF that Wednesday was an opportunity to continue to improve in several areas.  The 8th year coach adds, “Oneida and Union County gave us some different looks and are two disciplined programs.”

Price’s Cougars play for a third straight day today.  It’s a 6 pm start at Halls against the Red Devils.

After a Friday of no 7-on-7s, Campbell has a full day on Saturday.  On July 14, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm & 4 pm – the Cougars will have games at Maryville College, Price’s alma mater where he played quarterback.

The Cougars play Central on Friday, August 10, at Neyland Stadium in the High School Kick-Off Classic.  The season officially opens Friday, August 17, 7:30 pm, at Rogersville with the Cherokee Chiefs.  The WLAF – B & M Tires Sports Network has all the live radio, television, and dotcom coverage.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/12/2018-6AM-PHOTO COURTESY OF PAT PEBLEY)
