It’s a quick turn-a-round for the Campbell County Cougars.  Campbell hosted Maryville Tuesday evening at Pat Kerr Field in the opening day of seven-on-seven football.  This morning at 10:30 am, CCHS will be back on the field.

Cougar Head Coach Justin Price calls it a good session with the Rebels.  The 8th year coach says, “We were able to do some good things against a very good opponent, but we still have some work to do.  We are excited about correcting those mistakes to become the best possible team.”

Here is the CCHS 7-on-7 schedule:

Wednesday, July 11, 10:30 am – Union County and Oneida at CCHS

Thursday, July 12, 6 pm – CCHS at Halls

Saturday, July 14, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm & 4 pm – Games at Maryville College

The Cougars play Central on Friday, August 10, at Neyland Stadium in the High School Kick-Off Classic.  The season officially opens Friday, August 17, 7:30 pm, at Rogersville with the Cherokee Chiefs.  The WLAF – B & M Tires Sports Network has all the live radio, television, and dotcom coverage.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/11/2018-6AM-PHOTO COURTESY OF PAT PEBLEY)
