Who could ever forget a name like Cooster?If you were ever in Smith Hardware in La Follette, anywhere from the 1940s through the early 2000s, you know Cooster Smith.  Smith and his family owned and ran the store for many decades.

Today is Paul “Cooster” Smith’s 93rd birthday.

Last year (2017), like in April, I asked Cooster if he’d be 92 this year?  He responded in classic Cooster fashion by saying, “If I’m still alive, I will be.”
