Students who are selected receive a post-secondary education scholarship. Selection is based on the child’s ability to overcome obstacles along their literacy journey from learning to read to reading to learn. The students who are chosen must have four values, tenaciously driven, eager to read, noticeably growing and a nonstop learner. Clark embodies all of these values. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-04/07/2025-6AM)
