Clean Cut Manor Barbershop and Lounge is behind The Local

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Get your hair cut and kick back and relax a little at Clean Cut Manor Barbershop and Lounge. With pool tables, arcade games and a relaxing atmosphere, the new barbershop has that home-town feel.

The business officially opened about two months ago and is owned and operated by local barber Nelson Smith.

Clean Cut Manor is “Your Go-To Small Town Barbershop for Classic Cuts and Modern Flair.”

Located behind The Local and situated next to Absolute Fitness, the barbershop is a place where customers can “unwind, relax, and leave feeling refreshed, confident, and looking their best.”

“I want the shop to have that hometown feel and also be a place for kids to come have fun in,” Smith said.

With two pool tables, along with multiple arcade games (above) and a soon to be installed Root Beer Float Bar, Clean Cut Manor Barbershop and Lounge is much more than a place to get your hair cut or a shave.

“The kids need stuff to do in this town and a safe place to go and have fun,” Smith said.

He plans to hire local employees and provide quality haircuts and shaves. Smith has over five years of barbershop experience and helped to open two other barbershops during the past five years.

“I just felt like it was time to open up my own shop and I wanted it to serve the community,” Smith said.

He said he has his first employee coming on board in June and plans to bring on four other barbers to the shop over the next year.

“They are all local guys who are in barber school,” Nelson said.

Also coming up in about a month, Smith said he plans to host an event to benefit several local charities.

“I’m planning on having a motorcycle show and fundraiser event to benefit local abused women and also a school supply drive,” Smith said.
