LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – On Monday afternoon, the two new traffic signals on Hwy 63-Stiner Hwy were powered up. According to TDOT, activation of a new traffic signal is a critical part of the new signal installation process. To make motorist aware of the new signal, the new signal should be operated on flash operation for a minimum of seven calendar days up to a maximum of 14 calendar days prior to the activation of normal traffic signal operation.
The traffic signal activation procedures for Hwy 63-Stiner Hwy has the (yellow) caution light active on Hwy 63 -Stiner Hwy and the (red) stop light signal on the side streets Operators should slow down and use caution at these intersections. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/14/2023-6AM)
