JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The 2023 LA Cruizers 22nd Annual Car Show is today.

Last year’s show  was described as the largest turnout by both cars and spectators. “This year, we’ll have a car auction, something new,” said LA Cruizers Member David Russell.

The 2003 GMC Sierra pick-up truck was donated by Short- Redmond Ford. All proceeds will be donated to support local charities, according to LA Cruizers Club President Tom Hatmaker.

This truck with 4-wheel drive, leather seats and 130,948 miles will be a prize on Saturday.

Also donated was two tickets to the NASCAR experience. The winner will get to drive on a NASCAR track, Hatmaker said.

Gates open at 10am with the event expected to last until 3pm. Dash plaques will be handed out for the first 100 cars to register and an award will be given to the person who travels the furthest to attend.

Last year, the turnout for the show was the largest to date.
