JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- In less than five minutes on Thursday afternoon, the Jacksboro Board of Mayor and Aldermen met in a special called session with one item on the agenda.

The item on the agenda was a discussion/acceptance of bids for paving and striping. The area to be paved starts at Rolling Hills and continues to Kentucky Street. One bid was received from Rogers Group for $159,830. The board unanimously approved the bid. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-09/25/2026-6AM)
