CAMPBELL COUNTY, TN (WLAF)- A late season heat wave will peak this week, with temperatures soaring well into the 90s for most locations. Heat indices will climb into the 100s.
Heat is one of the leading weather-related killers in the U-S. Take hot temperatures seriously, drink plenty of water, find A/C, and remember to look before you lock when exiting vehicles. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-09/01/2026-6AM-TEXT AND IMAGE COURTESY OF NWS MORRISTOWN)
