LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) - The 2019 Christmas Parade is Saturday night at 6 pm in Downtown La Follette.  Thanks to all who made it possible.


The chances to win are increasing at DT La Follette merchants

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Santa Clause "is" coming to town.  Early!  Get your list ready and stop by to see Santa on Friday between 5 pm and 7 pm at Common Ground.  La Follette’s Downtown Country Christmas starts this Friday.  There’ll be several sales offered by the downtown merchants.  Plus, there will be give-a-ways.  Businesses begin giving out tickets for chances to win prizes on Friday at 4 pm.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) - LaFollette kicked off its first ever Downtown Country Christmas Friday night. The event included special holiday sales and gift giveaways at local merchants, along with a tree lighting ceremony, a visit from Santa and more.


Smith Hardware's Christmas Party is Saturday; Santa will be there.

Santa Claus will be at Smith Hardware on Saturday to check in on Sherman, and while he's there, it's your chance to visit with Santa and let him know what you'd like for Christmas.

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) - Santa drove a police cruiser this year at the Shop with a Cop event which is helping 300 kids have a merrier Christmas.


Green was celebrated Thursday night

Prior to the start of Thursday night's ceremony, Nancy Green made it to every table to thank all those who attended.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) - Without fail, every year an outstanding citizen is chosen as the Grand Marshal of the Campbell County Christmas Parade.  This year is no exception.  Nancy Green is the 2019 honoree.

Thursday night at the La Follette Church of God, Green was honored with a reception and program.

Scout Troop 310 brightens the holidays

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)  — The fourth annual Brandon Card College & High School Bass Open, hosted by Bassmaster Elite Series angler Brandon Card, will take place Saturday, Dec. 7 at Lonas Young Park on Norris Lake. This unique event features both a college and high school tournament, with each division competing at the same time for separate trophies, payouts and prizes.
