LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – It was the coolest May based on National Weather Service data for Knoxville since 2005. The average temperature for May was 64.8-degrees.  That’s 2.4-degrees below average.

June opened on Monday with low humidity and temps right at average (80) here in Campbell County.  However, temps begin heating up as we go through this first week of June.

Expect a high of 85 today ahead of a low of 65 tonight (the average low is 59-degrees) under mostly sunny skies.  The day will have a stuffy feel as it moves along, and we’ll really start to feel the humidity creep back in on Wednesday to go along with a high of 87.  Thursday will feature the muggiest day of the week.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/02/2020-6AM)
