Betty Sue Draughn, age 78 of Caryville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. She was born May 14, 1940 in Jacksboro to the late Goldman and Georgia (Gross) Lindsay. Betty was a member of Bear Wallow Baptist Church. She was a loving wife of 57 years, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family, mowing, working outdoors and her in garden.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry McKamey; grandchildren, Johnny Ray Draughn and Amber Dick; sisters, Libby Tapp, Dixie Crabtree, and Mediann Lasley

Betty is survived by husband, John R. Draughn; sons, Johnny Draughn and wife, Betty of LaFollette, Steve Draughn and wife, Tammy of Clinton, Joey Draughn and wife, Amber of Duff, Greg Draughn and wife, Sue of LaFollette; daughters, Connie Gibson and husband, Brian of LaFollette, Teresa Gibson and husband, David of Jacksboro; sisters, Mary Ellen Wallace, Belvey Chapman, Martha Swafford, and Louise Adkins.  She is also survived by grandchildren, Cecilia, Victoria, Constance, Eric, Michelle, Josh, Daniel, Tiffany, Natashia, Megan, Alisha, Kristen, Isaiah, Connor, Cailyn, Michael, Anna Ruth, and Chasity; 36 great grandchildren; special friends, Momma Connie and Tony, Liz and Donnie, and host of other relatives and friends.

Friends and family will meet 11:00 AM Thursday, May 14th at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in procession to Indian Creek Cemetery for graveside service with Rev. Don Allen and Rev. Jerry Foust officiating.
