Mary Ruth Heatherly, age 85 of Jacksboro, departed this life to be with the Lord and her husband Lee of 47 years on Tuesday, April 7th, 2020. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mary Ruth also enjoyed cooking, sewing, and quilting. She also loved attending Eastside Wesleyan Church, where she was a lifetime member.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Lee Heatherly; parents, Frank and Ruby (Moppin) Wilson; brother, Bobby Wilson and Charles Wilson; sister, Martha McCarty.

Mary Ruth is survived by sons; Lee Heatherly Jr. and wife, Linda of Jacksboro, Dennis Wayne Heatherly and wife, Karen of Jacksboro, William Samuel Heatherly and wife, Stella of LaFollette, and Ricky Dale Heatherly and wife, Rhonda of Jacksboro; daughter, Peggy Lay and husband, Donald of Jacksboro; brothers, Joe Wilson of LaFollette, Frankie Wilson and wife, Joyce of Jacksboro, Donald Wilson and wife, Mary of Lafollette; sisters, Clara Raynor, Brenda Wilson, and  Linda Jacobs all of LaFollette; She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.

Due to the restrictions of the COVID-19, the family will hold a private graveside service at Bakers Forge Cemetery with Rev. Roger Stanley officiating.
