The LFD stands ready to respond to your emergency calls no matter what.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The La Follette Fire Deparment has always been there when it comes to handling our emergencies, and it continues to be.  However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, LFD Chief Jimmy Pack said, “We’ve had to temporarily suspend our public outreach operations when it comes to our smoke detector campaign as well as any public appearances.  It’s critical that we keep our fire fighters and first responders healthy for the safety of our citizens, because when an emergency call comes in, we’ll be there; no matter what.”

Pack pointed out, “Once we are past this pandemic, we’ll be back out in the community, and our smoke detector program will be back in full operation.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/31/2020-6AM)
