LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) -Phase three of the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant is ready to start.

This phase of the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) grant covers sidewalks on S. Indiana Ave. Yesterday afternoon, the City of LaFollette Mayor and Council voted on two resolutions for the grant.
The first resolution 2020-04 hired Community Development Partners, LLC for the administrative services of the grant. The second resolution 2020-05 allowed for the hiring of Cannon and Cannon for engineering services of the grant.
Lafollette City Administrator Jimmy Jefferies explained to the council these two items had to be done prior to the kick-off meeting for the grant in Nashville at the end of the month. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 1/22/2020 6AM)
