Charles Gentry Flowers, Sr., age 75, of Caryville

Charles Gentry Flowers Jr. age 75, of Caryville, Tennessee passed away on December 23, 2019 at his residence. Charles served in the US Army from 1962 to 1965. He was a Lt. Veh Dvr and was honored with a driver mechanic badge w/driver wbar. He was honorably discharged in 1965. He had over 55 years in the trucking industry and was awarded Driver of the Year 2019 by Express Delivery Services. Charles was a proud father of three, proud grandfather of eleven, a proud great grandfather to one and a loving brother to six siblings. He was also uncle to many nieces, nephews, and was known as “Uncle Cheese.” Charles is preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles Gentry Flowers Sr., and Anne Britt Flowers.

Funeral Service: 3:00 PM Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with military Honors presented by the Campbell County Guard.
