JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) –  Gibbs outscored Campbell in overtime to win 77 to 72 on Friday in a semi-final game at the AC Tourney.  The Cougars and Lady Cougars take part in separate Christmas Tournaments on different weeks as the Cougars play Saturday afternoon in the Anderson County Christmas Tournament.  The Lady Cougars start their tournament next Thursday.  LISTEN here live over www.1450wlaf.com for Saturday’s CCHS vs.  First Baptist Academy of Powell at 3 pm.

Anderson County Christmas Tournament Boys Bracket

The Cougars opened play Thursday afternoon against Oliver Springs in the Anderson County Christmas Tournament and came away with an impressive 53 to 28 win.  WLAF has all the radio only coverage of Friday’s Campbell-Gibbs game over AM 1450, FM 100.9 and www.1450wlaf.com.  The tourney runs through Saturday.

Beginning Thursday, December 26, at Lenoir City, the Lady Cougars face the Walker Valley Lady Mustangs n the Lenior City Christmas Tournament.  Tip time is 10:00 am at the Panthers Gym.  WLAF has all the radio only coverage over AM 1450, FM 100.9 and www.1450wlaf.com.  The tourney runs through Saturday, December 28.

In the new year, Campbell County returns to action at Bearden.  That’ll be on Friday, January 3, in a varsity doubleheader.  WLAF will have all the live radio and television coverage over the B & M Tires Sports Network.
