Ivey sentenced to 36 years in prison

Vernon Lee Ivey was sentenced to prison on Monday.

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – On Monday, Vernon Lee Ivey, La Follette, was sentenced to  36 years to be served in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Correction.  The sentence stemmed from the 43-year- old Ivey being convicted of two counts theft greater than $2,500, two counts of burglary, four counts of theft less than $1,000, five counts of theft greater than $1000, one count of aggravated burglary, one count of auto burglary and one count of theft over $10,000.

For the time being, Ivey, of Lambert Lane is housed in the Campbell County Jail.  According to jail records, Ivey has been arrested 20 times dating back to 2001.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/10/2019-6AM)
