JELLICO, TN. (WLAF) – On Dec. 1, Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Gary Marcum responded to a call on East Campers Circle, Jellico, about a possible assault.

Marcum spoke with the victim who alleged that his neighbor was being very loud all evening and this led to a verbal altercation. During the altercation the victim said Wesley Darrin Satterfield had allegedly struck him in the face, and his son had witnessed the incident, according to a report from the sheriff’s department.
When Marcum went to speak with Satterfield, he allegedly admitted to being loud and that he did get into a verbal altercation. He continued he didn’t remember exactly what had happened, but that he might have grabbed the victim but denied striking him in the face.
Satterfield, 45, 8313 Emory Road NE, Corryton is charged with assault. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED 12/06/2019- 6AM)
