JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Jacksboro Elementary School teachers’ small act of kindness of gathering food for a student for the weekend that turned into a worldwide food drive make their national television appearance this morning.

On local television, The Doctors Show airs this morning at 8 am on WLVT-D2 out of Knoxville.   Brooke Goins and Brittani Stooksbury will be featured focusing on how one student needing food led to an explosion of giving to students at the Jacksboro Elementary School.

The Doctors Show that features two JES teachers airs Thursday morning at 8 am.

Goins admitted  to being nervous about the airing of the show.  Even though the show was taped weeks ago, Goins still has the butterflies about this morning.  She and Stooksbury are having to tape the show, because they’ll be teaching class at JES.
