LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A scheduled Public Hearing is Tuesday at La Follette City Hall at 5:30 pm.  A Public Hearing will be held on Tues., Dec. 3, 2019, at 5:30 pm, at La Follette City Hall and will proceed with the city council meeting for this day and time to approve the final passage of ordinance:  *1. Ordinance 2019-06- Amending Ordinance 2017-03 Specific permitted street use for ATV updating permittable streets.

The final reading on Ordinance 2019-06 is on the council meeting’s agenda along with two resolutions involving paving projects.  Employee insurance renewal plus approval of a memorandum of understanding with the TBI are on the agenda.

Approval of 21 beer license renewals highlights the Beer Board meeting which follows the council meeting.  The businesses up for renewal of their beer license are Campbell Tobacco and Beer, China Town Cafe, Corner Market, CVS Pharmacy, Dollar General Store, El Charo’s, El Pueblito, Food City, Food Lion, Bread Box, IGA, Red Roof Market, Murphy Oil, Ninja Habachi, Quick Shop, Quick Stop, Shell Gas Station, The Back Door, Tobacco Mercantile, Walgreen’s and Weigel’s.
