LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Crews have been working all week to shore up the damage created by heavy spring and summer rains and flooding on the bank between Community Trust Bank and its neighbor First Presbyterian Church.

On Thursday morning, repairs to the Community Trust Bank retaining wall drew  spectators.  People watched as the liquid concrete, shotcrete, was sprayed from the overhead lift and then formed into shape by the workers.  People were parked beside the old post office and city hall on South Tennessee Avenue watching the workers as they went about their jobs spray truck load after truck load of concrete.

As a result, the drive-thru for Community Trust Bank has been closed much of the week for the repairs.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/22/2019-6AM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF WLAF’S CHARLIE HUTSON)
