LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Crime statistics reveal that at some point in a female’s life, she will be the victim of a crime.

A local spa wants women to be ready if that happens.

On Saturday, Nov. 9 at 9 am, the Ahh Spa will present a Common Sense Self Defense workshop for women only. The premise of the workshop is to help women learn how to avoid becoming the victim of a crime. Self defense techniques that simple to execute and not physically taxing will be taught by eighth degree Black Belt Larry Bostic.

The class is open to women of all ages.

Registration for the class is required and comes with a discount. The class is $35 at the door and $30 with preregistration.
