LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Coats for the Cold continues its campaign of accepting donations for its annual coat give-a-way. The deadline to donate a coat or cold weather item is Fri., Oct. 25. Margaret Ayers, one of the Coats for the Cold volunteers, said, “We’ll take anything you want to give that will keep people warm; coats, gloves, heavy sweaters, caps, hoodies, toboggans, sweat shirts, mufflers, hats, mittens, scarves and the like.” Drop off locations are the La Follette Church of God, across from the high school, and the La Follette United Methodist Church, across from the hospital.
Give-a-way Day for Coats for the Cold is Fri., Nov. 1, 9 am until 4 pm, at the La Follette United Methodist Church. The church is at 800 East Central Avenue in La Follette. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/25/2019-6AM)
