At Saturday’s Mutt Strut, “Best Dressed” was awarded to Pippen Oliver.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Despite the rain, plenty of mutts came to strut their stuff Saturday afternoon.   See more Charlie and Lindsey Hutson photos HERE.Spay Campbell County’s first Mutt Strut drew animals of all sizes from Great Danes to Chihuahuas to even a cat.

“Best Owner/Pet Look-Alike” was awarded to Bryonna Ford and dog Minnie as Minnie Mouse.

Owners were able to swap stories, get advice, eat and even grab some freebies while meandering from to tent to tent. Hot dogs, provided by Katie’s Restaurant, and Judy’s fried pies were a hit with the two legged attendees while La Follette Vet Services and PetSense supplied treats for the four legged ones. There was nonstop entertainment lined up by several singers and the K-9 officers of Campbell County. Tents were also set up with jewelry and local crafts for sale. Even the dogs got crafty with the opportunity for the pets to make a paw print flower canvas from the La Follette Vet Services.

“Best Costume” was awarded to Liechen Oliver (standing with owner Abbie Oliver).
