Donna Orick of La Follette rolls up her sleeve for her free flu shot from Jessica Muse with LMC

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – “The La Follette Medical Center has already seen some flu cases, and now’s the time to get a free flu shot to keep you from getting the flu or, at least, lessening your symptoms,” said Kathy Myers.  Myers, LMC’s Chief Nursing Officer, encourages you to get a free flu shot on Friday, until 2pm, at the La Follette Medical Center drive-thru flu shot line.  Turn onto North Avenue, and you will be directed through the line which winds behind the former Ken’s Pharmacy/Riggs Drug building and Dr. Wood and Crutchfield’s office and then back out to East Avenue.

In the event you cannot make it out today, the hospital will also offer free flu shots at the Big Creek Fall ATV Festival in downtown LaFollette on Sat., Oct. 12, from 10 am to 5 pm.  other free flu clinics are coming.  WLAF will announce the next flu clininc.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/11/2019-NOON)
