LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – “We are good to go,” said Tom Hatmaker, president of the LA Cruizers.  Saturday’s annual LA Cruizers Open Show is a go.  Though there is an outside chance of rain for Saturday, the members voted Thursday night to have the show.  On site preparation for tomorrow’s big event begins this evening.
The late summer event features trucks, cars and motorcycles from 10 am until 3 pm at Campbell County High School.

There will be 50/50 cash drawings, and dash plaques go to the first 100 entries. The one trophy that will be given this year is the “longest distance trophy.”  Entry fee is $15.

The vehicle give-a-way also takes place at the Open Show.  Tickets are $5 for that raffle.  The MINI COOPER (ABOVE) is provided by  Short-Redmond Ford.

Enjoy door prizes, music, hot dogs and BBQ.

Proceeds from the show benefit several local organizations such as the Children’s Center Christmas Gift Program, the Cancer Association, baskets for shut-ins and the Honor Guard.
